Wai, water is essential for all living things. It gives life to all. Ola i ka wai. It is important that our waters flow naturally as intended, clean, and constant. Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi engages in supporting water restoration and caring for our water resources. Below are some of the resources created by our youth to support mālama wai, caring for our waters.

Save our Natives of Ukumehame
Ukumehame is one of the largest ahupuaʻa in West Maui. The Ukumehame Stream continues to flow from its source in ʻEʻeka to the ocean. It is home to many native species. To educate the community about the importance of the stream, and its proper care, PAA Hawaiʻi created educational signs to post at the stream.
